Warming Up Your Pallets Before Printing.
What are the benefits of warming up your pallets before screen printing?
Before you run any print job, you should always warm-up the pallets before you even load your first shirt for test printing. Below are some of the benefits of warming up your pallets before screen printing.
- It’ll reactivate your pallet adhesive.
- Makes it easier to remove lint and pallet tape.
- Helps to warm up the ink in your screens so it’ll flow through the mesh easier.
- Speeds up flash times.
- Will help prevent the ink from sticking to the underside of your screen(s).
- Helps keep the prints consistent from the first to the last impression.
If for any reason you need to stop, or pause during a run. We recommend finishing the shirts that are on press. When you resume printing, warm the pallets up again. Even if you’re taking a 15 minute break.
