Adjust dots size from 15–55 LPI, control the halftone angle, and choose between multiple dot shapes including circle, ellipse, diamond, square, and line. This gives you precise control over how gradients transition into printable dots so your artwork keeps its detail while still producing breathable, professional prints.
Forget basic sliders. DTX Live gives you a powerful histogram and gamma curve so you can dial in how artwork transitions into transparency and halftones. The result is smoother gradients, cleaner separations, and artwork that prints the way it should.
When you’re ready to finalize your white base, you can generate it in real time and instantly see how it will print. Adjust the choke from 0–2 pixels to tighten edges and prevent white from peeking out around your halftones. Then save it as a layer, mask, or spot color channel, giving you full control for production, revisions, or repeat orders without reworking the file from scratch.
When you’re done dialing in your settings, you can save the project as a .dtx file which stores both the artwork and all of your adjustments together. This allows you to reopen the file later, tweak the settings, prepare revisions for a customer, or rerun the artwork for repeat orders without starting the process over from scratch.
